Welcome to a spiritual home for students of Christian Science in Sarasota, FL. We’re a branch church of The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, MA. Our members are dedicated to healing...and to learning more about our role in God’s universe. Come join our ever-unfolding spiritual adventure!
We hold two services — one at 10:30 am on Sunday mornings, one at 7:00 pm on Wednesday nights. Children? Bring ‘em along. We have Sunday School during our Sunday morning service as well as child care for every service.
Everyone's spiritual journey is individual ... unique ... between you and God. It can help you to find your purpose in life.

What is Christian Science?
Christian Science teaches that God is Love and that we are His beloved children. It is a church founded by Bible student and devoted Christian, Mary Baker Eddy, and is based on her revelation during a dramatic life-saving healing in 1866. She explains that “The vital part, the heart and soul of Christian Science is Love.” Its teachings are based on the life and ministry of Christ Jesus. In 1875, after years of deep study and prayer, Mary Baker Eddy published the first edition of the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.

What do Christian Scientists believe?
Christian Scientists believe in one infinite God who is all and entirely good, and that He is not distant and unknowable, but all-encompassing and always present. Each individual is loved and cared for by God and made in God’s image — spiritual, not material. This understanding replaces sin and disease with harmony and health, peace and inspiration. We experience healings of physical, emotional, relationship, and financial problems, and believe in Jesus' words (John 14:12), "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do."
